Jesus Reigns

The Philippines had just written a new historical event last day ( November 30, 2014). It is the Jesus Reigns Philippines, which is a nationwide simultaneous worship celebration with 82 participating Provinces. Last year, it was just one city in every island - Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao. This year, here in Mindanao, 25 Provinces participated to the said event and one is here in Misamis Oriental which was held here in Cagayan de Oro City specifically at Don Gregorio Pelaez Sports Complex.

I don't know how many churches were there but the place was filled with so many Christians. The Presence of God was all over the complex. People were very lively in praising and worshipping God in Spirit and Truth with the Tamburine dancers. I just can't explain how much joy that God placed in my heart, and I am sure everyone did felt the same way too. I am sure that every emptiness was filled, every soul was revived and bodies were strengthen. For it is said by Rick Joiner in his book "The Final Quest" that true worship heals all wounds.

Everyone (well not really all but almost) wore their Jesus Reigns shirt and even some with a cap and a bar pin.

Prayers were all offered during the event. Prayers for Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, Philippines and even for Israel. Unity among the Body of Christ was really evident in the place. Truly it is good when brethren dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1). And with this event, it was proven that it is not impossible that Christ's Body will be united not just in a city but all over the nation - united in giving glory to the One and True Living God. I hope next year, a larger number of participants from different churches will join. The event ended with a fireworks display.
